Who should attend the Introducing GDPR course?
This General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) course is essential for all employees who have access to personal data, for example, front-line data processors, HR personnel, supervisors and managers.
Understanding GDPR and correctly following data privacy regulations is crucial for all UK businesses and organisations as you may have legal liability if you are responsible for a breach.
Introduced in May 2018, GDPR applies to ‘controllers and ‘processors’. Controllers determine the purposes and means of processing personal data while processors are responsible for processing personal data on behalf of a controller.
For processors, the GDPR places particular legal obligations on you; for example, you are required by law to maintain records of personal data and processing activities.
Our online safety training course is designed to be flexible and can be completed at a time that suits your employees.
Recommended System Requirements:
- An up to date web browser e.g. Chrome or Firefox
