UKATA Non Licensed Asbestos Removal Training – 1 DAY
As a member of UKATA, Boss Training offers safety training services along with four distinct Asbestos Training courses. Whilst our UKATA Asbestos Awareness Training Course is sufficient for anyone who could potentially come into contact with asbestos, those who undertake short duration work with non-friable materials must complete the Non Licensed Asbestos Removal Course (also known as Category B Asbestos Training).
Non Licensed Asbestos Removal Training is aimed at anyone whose work will knowingly disturb low risk asbestos containing materials. Ideal for the likes of maintenance staff, engineers, plumbers and demolition workers who work with or around asbestos containing materials, initial training will be anywhere between 6 and 9 hours depending on the group’s experience.
We take a simple three step method when it comes to UKATA Non Licensed Asbestos Removal Training, with delegates receiving a lecture on current laws and legislation as well as other theoretical training, a theoretical assessment and practical training.
Before the Asbestos Removal course, a ‘training needs analysis’ will be carried out to establish the types of asbestos containing materials likely to be encountered by delegates in order to tailor our course for your needs.
Theory training will be delivered on a whole host of issues, including the law, work which could result in asbestos exposure and control measures just to name a few.
Refresher courses are also available and usually last around 4 hours.
“My guys recently attended the Boss asbestos awareness & removal course, venue: Brighouse. The following day they had to sit an insurance training module to confirm understanding of the course. Not only did they pass – they passed at 100%!”– Walter Jim Forsyth – Lion Steel Equipment Ltd
