Abrasive Wheels Training
Boss Training’s Abrasive Wheels Training Courses are run over half a day and are delivered at the customers place of work.
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER 98) necessitates abrasive wheels courses for anyone involved in the use, mounting or inspection of abrasive wheels in a workplace.
We can provide the necessary abrasive wheels training courses either at our approved centre, or at a location to suit your needs. We can guarantee that your operatives will receive the highest level of training in the correct selection, mounting, use and maintenance of abrasive wheels.
Often, training given in the work environment is much easier for employees to follow, as they do not have to allow for differences in equipment and layout as they learn. Working on the machines that they routinely use means that the training can be more intensive as well as giving them a chance to ask questions relevant to the actual working systems in use in the workplace.
Delegates are encouraged to bring along their own equipment. Although the fundamental message of the training will remain broadly the same, the inspection, use and maintenance of specific tools such as angle grinders, Stihl saws, chop saws etc can be covered.
If you want to know about the PAT testing regulations for electrical equipment, please ask us for more details.
