This UKATA Asbestos Awareness Course in person is designed to provide those who work around asbestos or those who would like to know more about asbestos, with the knowledge and insight to protect themselves and others from the risks associated with asbestos.

Asbestos awareness training plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment for those who encounter asbestos. We also do UKATA Asbestos Training Online.

The course teaches the delegates the health risks of asbestos and how to avoid it; through recognising it, understanding potential locations of asbestos containing material and understanding the role of Asbestos Registers. This course does not teach you how to remove or work with asbestos containing materials.

The UKATA approved asbestos course aims to raise workers’ awareness of the potential hazards associated with asbestos. It will educate them on the necessary precautions and procedures to follow when working with this hazardous material.

Participants will gain insights into asbestos properties, its impact on health, and the various types and uses of asbestos-containing materials. The training program covers essential topics to minimize risks and promote risk prevention effectively.
