Our manual handling training course offers training to help avoid these injuries occurring in the first place by teaching people manual handling awareness. This helps them make assessments on whether an object is suitable for lifting and the techniques to use if it is deemed to be safe.

The course is made up of theory and practical training. There is an assessment of the theory work through a multiple-choice test and a practical assessment of the delegates lifting technique.

Pre-Requisites:

There is a practical element to the course so please wear appropriate clothing. If you are lifting heavier loads in a factory/construction site you will need to wear standard PPE.

If the course is taking place on your site then please ensure that you provide some typical loads to be lifted during the practical training.

Alternatively, we also offer an Online Manual Handling course for £15 + VAT that can be taken at any time.

We also provided manual handling training online for those who prefer to do it online. It takes 100 minutes and costs £15 + VAT per person.
