This CAT and Genny course involves hands-on use of the actual locators to detect and trace the route of buried underground services, meaning you will gain a thorough under of how to safely and correctly operate a Cable Avoidance Tool and a Signal Generator (GENNY).

This course will cover the different types of buried services, current legislation and best practices concerning detecting buried services, the safety implications of not using a locator and associated ancillary equipment, the use of local utility plans, and observation of evidence in the street, for example.

For this course you will need to bring with you the appropriate receiver you would like to be trained on and one transmitter with accessories will also be required for each course.
